Morpheus Foundation Inc. is a nonprofit organization dedicated to helping women in need in the Baltimore community. Our mission is to provide support and resources to those women facing challenges and empower them to thrive.
CRISIS INTERVENTION SERVICES
Community Outreach Programs
Connecting individuals with essential resources. Improving quality of life. These programs aim to address unmet needs, promote social inclusion, and foster a sense of community solidarity. They are often implemented by local organizations, social work professionals, and volunteer groups like the Morpheus Foundation.
Mental Health Support Services
We provide therapy and support for emotional challenges. Creating a safe environment for healing. This program is designed to effectively address physical and mental health issues of our women. Women in prison also suffer from mental illness at higher rates than men. Significantly, a 2004 Bureau
of Justice report found that 73 % of women in state prisons nationwide either had symptoms or a
clinical diagnosis of mental illness, and/or were receiving treatment from a mental health professional
in the past year, compared to 55 % of men.
Community Apprenticeship Programs

We believe that there is no one better to rebuild our homes and families than the people who live here. We have become a member of Abc of greater Baltimore the largest construction
Apprenticeship school in Maryland.
